Lori Mitchell, born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She has always been inspired by:

• Children's themes and literature
• Old illustrations
• Toys

In 1999, Lori began creating her first papier-mâché pieces for the folk art world and has never looked back. Her creations, full of whimsy and charm, have captured the hearts of folk art enthusiasts worldwide, earning her a cherished place in collections across the globe.
