All of ESC & Company's, Inc. items are "Designed in the USA", and meticulously hand-crafted by their carefully chosen factory partners to a quality level such that it is difficult if not impossible to differentiate the artist's original from the reproduced item. Nothing is put into production until the artist has received and approved a "touch and feel" sample. Taken together, there is no better description of the ESC licensed product mix than as items inspired by nostalgic memories of years-gone-by, reminiscent of vintage Americana folk-art, old illustrations, or children's tales. Our artists as a group inspire memories of whimsical, magical childhood years.

Artist Lori Mitchell was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Lori has always been inspired by children's themes and literature, old illustrations and toys. In 1999 she began making her first paper mache pieces for the folk art world and has never looked back. Full of whimsy and charm, her characters have won a place in the hearts and collections of folk art enthusiasts worldwide.
